I translated this truth into a visual and emotional experience through a custom jacquard pattern with a net-like backing. Hands holding together gently dissolve and merge into one another, becoming form, line, and emotion. This soft merging reflects the invisible yet powerful bonds between people, while inviting the viewer to explore human connection and interaction.
The feather motif beside the hands suggests wings, symbolizing soaring, liberation, and rebirth. I hope those who encounter this work will feel it as an entity that reminds us: instead of falling alone, we can hold hands and soar together through difficult times.
この作品は、家族や友人、コミュニティからの支えと愛によって困難を乗り越えてきた、私自身の歩みにインスピレーションを得ています。作品の基盤となったのは、「誰かが手を取り合い、一緒に飛び込んでくれたなら、それは落下ではなく飛翔である」という気づきでした。
この真実を、特注のジャカードパターンと網目状の裏地を通じて、視覚的かつ感情的な体験へと昇華させました。繋がれた手はやがて溶け合い、形や線、感情へと変化していきます。その柔らかな融合は、人と人との間に存在する目には見えないけれども力強い絆を表現し、鑑賞者に人間的なつながりや相互作用を探求するよう促します。
手のそばにあしらった羽根のモチーフは翼を示唆し、飛翔、解放、そして再生を象徴しています。この作品に出会う人々が、「ひとりで落ちるのではなく、手を取り合うことで困難な時を共に飛翔できる」ということを思い出す存在として感じ取ってもらえれば幸いです。
