Rin Noguchi Japanese Commercial Calligrapher Owner, gallery restaurant : DISH Born in Miyazaki and raised in Fukuoka, Japan, I began studying calligraphy at an early age. My aspiration to become an advertising designer led me to explore calligraphy as a form of visual expression—one that communicates beyond words. I create brush lettering for a wide range of applications, including advertising, editorial and web design, product packaging, corporate and retail logos, and title lettering. My practice centers on Commercial Calligraphy, transforming written language from something to be read into something to be seen. I create lettering in response to the purpose, identity, and visual world of each product, brand, advertisement, or space. While rooted in the traditional techniques of Japanese calligraphy, I seek to move beyond the established boundaries of the art form, creating lettering that can exist only for a particular word, place, or person. Through brush lettering, I seek to visualize the beauty, energy, and individuality of language, creating work that responds to diverse styles, cultures, and messages both in Japan and abroad. ​

野口凛 日本の商業書道家 ギャラリーレストラン「DISH」オーナー 宮崎県生まれ、福岡県育ち。 幼い頃から書道を学び始めました。 広告デザイナーを目指す中で、言葉を超えた表現手段としての書道を探求するようになりました。 広告、エディトリアルデザイン、ウェブデザイン、商品パッケージ、企業ロゴ、小売店ロゴ、タイトルなど、幅広い用途で筆文字を制作しています。 私の活動の中心は商業書道です。 文字を「読むもの」から「見るもの」へと昇華させることを目指しています。 それぞれの製品、ブランド、広告、空間の目的、アイデンティティ、そして視覚的な世界観に寄り添い、文字を創り上げます。 日本の伝統的な書道技法を基盤としながらも、既存の枠にとらわれず、特定の言葉、場所、人物のためにのみ存在する文字を創造することを目指しています。 私は筆文字を通して、言語の美しさ、エネルギー、そして個性を視覚化することを目指し、日本国内外の多様なスタイル、文化、メッセージに応える作品を制作しています。
